We are delighted to announce that the first 5 of our Sensational Museum interventions are now open for visitors:
- Sensing the Past of Peru at Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (University of Cambridge)
- Ethel Mairet’s Workshop at Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft (Ditchling)
- Innovation through Comparison at The History Store, Hereford Museum and Art Gallery (Hereford)
- Crafting the landscape: the journey of a piece of KSIA at Keswick Museum and Art Gallery (Keswick)
- The Family Home Lost to Time at Shakespeare’s New Place (Stratford-Upon-Avon)
These interventions were conceived by co-creator groups at our pilot museums using our Multisensory Interpretation Toolkit. Many thanks to project partner Barker Langham for design and project management support.

Our final 2 interventions, Sensing the Roman Baths Routine (Roman Baths, Bath) and Berwick Cockles (The Storehouse at Berwick Barracks, Berwick-upon-Tweed) will be ready in the coming weeks.
