GEM Case Study Volume Published

We are delighted to have co-produced one of the Group for Education in Museums case study volumes. GEM’s Case Studies help heritage professionals share examples of good practice and reflect on the challenges and successes of their projects. In The Sensational Museum edition we present 14 examples of multi-sensory practice in museums, many of which use the lived experience of disabled visitors and museum workers to improve the museum experience for all. Some articles explore how the toolkits and resources produced by The Sensational Museum have transformed museum practice. Others look at how The Sensational Museum’s focus on co-creation and sensory gain can enhance visitor experience. All of the articles include actionable suggestions and realistic takeaways.
