Collections Survey – Share your Experiences [now closed]

We’re looking for Collections professionals to help us with our research

As part of our Strand A ‘Collections’ research, we’re surveying people working in and with the UK heritage industry about their experience of Collections Management and Collections Management Systems, particularly in reference to the concepts of ‘multisensory’ and ‘accessibility’.

The survey asks people working in the UK heritage sector and for Collections Management System providers about their thoughts and experience on ‘multisensory’ and ‘accessibility’ in professional practice, the data models and the user interfaces related to collections management.

As the creators and users of these systems, your participation will allow us to explore ways we can subsequently design, prototype, pilot and promote new data models and interfaces that really push the boundaries and revolutionise how we manage, document and use museum collections with access at their core.

If you are considering take part in this research, please take a look at the Participation Information Sheet and Privacy Notice] If you decide you would like to take part, please carefully read and complete the Informed Consent Form which will then take you to the main survey. This survey should take around 20 minutes to complete and all questions are entirely optional.

If you have any questions, or you want to know more about how to participate in the research further through an interview and/or observational study, please get in touch with Sophie Vohra: sophie.vohra@leicester.ac.uk
